At Solaris, we believe every love story deserves a ring that feels personal and timeless. Our approach to custom ring creation is to guide you through each step with diamond education, thoughtful design, and a deep understanding of your unique story.
Whether you already have a style in mind that we can refine together, or you’re still exploring what feels right, you will be guided toward a design that’s beautifully tailored to you.
Week 1
Consultation, Diamond Selection and Trying on Sample Rings
We begin with a conversation about your vision, timeline, and budget to ensure we are aligned and the right jeweler for you.
Your bespoke journey then starts with the diamond. You will be able to view our curated collection of high-quality lab-grown diamonds, sourced from around the world and presented in our showroom here in Singapore. We could also source diamonds to your specifications and arrange for you to view them in person — please allow about one week for custom sourcing.
At the showroom, you will also have the chance to try on our most popular 18k gold rings set with lab-grown diamonds. Experiencing the real comfort, proportions, and beauty of Solaris rings will help guide your design decisions with confidence.
Week 1-2
CAD Design
The design process continues as we refine your ring in detail — from setting style and shank proportions to prongs, basket, gallery design, and pavé options. Every element is tailored to you.
Once your diamond and design are confirmed, you will place a 50% deposit and we will create a 3D CAD model of your ring.
You’ll review the renderings and can request as many adjustments as needed until it feels just right.
Week 2-5
Ring Making
After you approve the CAD, you can relax while our artisan jewelers are hard at work to bring your ring to life.
Week 5
Quality Assurance
Every ring passes a final round of quality checks before leaving our hands. At collection, we’ll also guide you through inspecting the details of your ring. The remaining 50% balance is due upon collection.
FEATURED DESIGN
A romantic twist on the hidden halo, the Arisa features an XO under-gallery. At its center rests a natural gemstone — shown here with a Siamese ruby, discreetly set close to the heart yet never irritates the skin.
This design invites personalization — clients often choose a birthstone, anniversary gem, or a stone to celebrate a new chapter such as a child’s birth.

Yes — custom design is our craft. While our signature styles appear online, most pieces are created uniquely for each client. Whether your inspiration comes from Instagram, Pinterest, or your own vision, we’d love to bring it to life.
We’ll use design principles to guide you step by step, from diamond selection to setting details. We’ll help you discover a design that feels right for you.
The full process takes at least 6 weeks, from consultation through CAD design and fabrication. If you have a proposal date or special timeline in mind, let us know early — we’ll do our best to meet it.
Yes — by appointment at our Clarke Quay showroom in Singapore. You’ll be able to view loose diamonds and try on real 18k gold rings set with lab-grown diamonds, so you can experience the comfort and beauty of Solaris pieces firsthand.
That’s no problem. We work with clients worldwide and offer VDO consultation. Wherever you are, you’ll feel fully included in the design journey. Please reach out to us.
We occasionally reset heirloom stones on a case-by-case basis, but we don’t typically set diamonds sourced from outside vendors. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss your particular request.
